A poem (For Georgia)

I could write for you a poem,
atleast once a week;or even twice a day.
But would their really be a point;
if it didn't feel what I meant to say.

And so instead I wait for times,
when inspiration and love entwine,
and then I write for you a poem,
which cuts short, but stops to say:

I'll love you till the bitter end,
and even on that rainy day...

Ht Luke,

It was good to meet you tonigh, thanks for your contribution.

A word of feedback on your poetry. One of the risks of rhyme is that the observance of rhyming rules can drown out other threads/traces/energies/subtleties in the writing.

All the best...
